Imaginary App
Imaginary is a brand concept used for assignments in the ilovecreatives Creative Copywriter Course. This make-believe app is designed to help adults reconnect with their imagination and childlike wonder to improve wellbeing and creativity.
DreamLayne
This project was special because I was my own client. After recently leaving my corporate career, I've had time to focus my creative energy on the brand I've been dreaming of since I can remember.
Oscar de la Renta
This spec work was inspired by a New Youk study tour I went on while attending University of North Texas. The Merchandising students were lucky enough to visit the ODLR headquarters in NYC and hear from Erica Bearman, Oscar PR Girl at the time.
About Abby
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Merchandising, I’ve spent the last 10 years of my career working in merchandising and marketing for big brand names on both the client and agency side. In the last couple years I also founded my creative business, DreamLayne, to help other creatives make their marketing more meaningful.
I have recently continued my love for learning creative communications and invested in resources such as personal brand consulting, copy coaching, and copywriting courses including the ilovecreatives Creative Copywriter Course and Upsell by UpClub.
Marketing has helped me understand people, and writing has helped me connect with them. My writing style is a blend of the brand’s tone of voice and words people actually want to read.
